For over the past 20 years, he had 160 solo exhibitions and has exhibited his works in numerous prestigious museums all over the world including Guggenheim Museum in New York, Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Panza di Biumo Collection in Varese, Italy. This is a great opportunity to see the comprehensive works of James Turrell before his retrospective exhibition which will be held in 2010 at the Guggenheim Museum.
